Hello, I'm Jesse. I live in Central Texas and have been into primitive living skills ever since seeing Les do a bow drill so many years ago. It's what fueled me to start my own forum, website and YouTube channel, Texas Bushcraft. Without Survivorman I wouldn't have built the awesome, albeit small, community I have today.
Many thanks to Les for that initial PUSH into this passion.

Justin Hill from Sin City, here.   The desert is a hard survive spot, but the mountains around are pretty fun.   Great names like Steve Irwin and of COURSE, Les Stroud have played a serious role in forming me into the nature loving, fact drunk, science guy that I am today.   I was lost for passions until these great men opened up the pathway my soul was seeking.

I only wish I had more ability to get out there and keep expanding on my abilities more often.  Having so many rescue animals and gardening requirements really cuts into free time to whittle away in the wild.

I spent some time up in Montana, though.  Summers there are excellent survival time, even if the meat is a bit scarce.

I learned one of my favorite meals is squirrel, out there, though.

Les....   You really didn't prepare me for that amazing flavor.  Now I'm SUPER excited about Wichity Grub and some other curious critters as well.  xD

New to the forums and SMTV but long time fan of Les Stroud. I have practiced survival techniques for many years and was taught many things by my father and grandfather both of whom spent most of their lives in the bush (as have I). Les Stroud in my opinion is the real deal in a way that many people who purport to be survival 'experts' absolutely are not. I am very happy to have the opportunity to support Les by being a subscriber

Hi all,

Nice to meet you all. Long time fan of Les. Love his work for so many reasons, the most being the wonderful escapism I experience whilst watching his true capturing of a natural environment. So happy to find out that my girlfriend bought me a subscription for my birthday today. I’m from Melbourne, Australia.

Hi everyone!  My name is Rob and I'm from Alberta, Canada.  I am what some would call a Sasquatch researcher here, others would call me a looney lol.  I'm a big fan of Les', been watching Survivorman since it first aired many many years ago.  I've always loved the format that Les uses to film episodes.  You feel like you are right there with him.  I always thought he would be an excellent person to take part in the search for the creature we know as Sasquatch, so when he announced that he was doing Survivorman Bigfoot I was ecstatic to say the least.  I would love to get out there with him sometime, I would love to hear his take on all things Bigfoot.  Nice to meet you all and good job with the site and the whole premise of Survivormantv.

Hello to everyone. I can be found watching SMTV here in Central/East Alabama quite often when I'm stuck at home and unable to be out in the woods myself. My friends and I have been following Les for many years now and we are super-thrilled about the SMTV Network! Being an avid canoer/kayaker, the episodes with paddlecraft, of course, are my favorite ones. You can catch me as Tallapoosaangler on YouTube and Instagram.  🙂

Howdy fellow Survivorman fans, My name is Andrew Romaine and I dropped enough hints that my kids got me a subscription for Christmas.  Found out about the network from his interview in Off Grid magazine, and am glad I did.  Was fortunate enough to "meet" Les at SHOT show a couple of years ago at the Camillus booth.  I was impressed at how at ease he was speaking to a crowd off the cuff like that, and then realized that is what makes him such a great teacher.  Looking forward to interacting here and absorbing the content.  I am from Southern California, Chino Hills.

Hey everyone, my name is Carl and my wife and I are big fans of Les Stroud and his work. I appreciate his integrity in making a honest television show- which is no small feat. I also feel that he is a very spiritually advanced person and I am drawn to like-minded people. I currently live in Hamilton which is a city in Southern Ontario, but I did live in Huntsville Ontario for about 12 years and in fact at one point I received Les' mail at one of my old jobs at a Resort up there. I imagine the stuff he was getting shipped to him was much more interesting that the usual things I was dealing with there. Anyways I am loving how open-minded he is towards Bigfoot and I personally do not come at them from a purely scientific, but rather a more spiritual or quasi-scientific perspective. I never forum much but I am looking forward to hanging out here. It's not often you have a celebrity that you think would genuinely make a cool friend to have, which is something that I appreciate about certain Canadian talents- and Les.

G'day.  My name is Lee.  I am from Newcastle Australia and I am a big fan of Les Strouds work.  I am a hunter, hiker, mountain bike rider, dirt bike rider and 4WDer and I need to be in nature regularly to cleanse my soul so I can make it through the working week in the city.  I have watched Survivorman on TV here in Aus, and have been fascinated by Bigfoot (Yowie in Australia) for years.  I had no idea that SurviviormanTV existed until I had an unexplained encounter in the Barrington Tops and began to look for answers and stumbled upon this resource.  I wish there were 100 Bigfoot episodes because I would watch them all in a row if I could.  I also love how Les does his survival videos without all of the "fluff" that others use.  Just him and his environment.  I have subscribed for the year but don't reckon it will be long before I have watched everything.  My hunger for knowledge is insatiable.  I am shocked that only 4000 people have subscribed, but then again I had no idea SurvivormanTV existed until a week ago.  Keep up the good work, and know that all of us want you and SurvivormanTV to be the best it can be.

Greetings, I'm Kevin, I've become a huge fan of Les' work over the years. I'm employed as a Firefighter/Paramedic and live in a very rural area just a stone's through from Mount Rainier National Park here in Washington state, where my wife and I raise our two young children. I originally grew up in a small lumber town known as Port Angeles, this is really where my love of the outdoors began, as I was fortunate to have Olympic National Park for my backyard/playground. We also lived very close to Vancouver Island,British Columbia. I went on many camping trips there, primarily at Pacific Rim. This is also where I began my love for hockey, which has extended to my family. I became a volunteer for our local search and rescue unit at age 15, we were taught survival skills but the training is and was rather basic, I suppose that's why I really enjoy Survivorman, educational and entertaining without the theatrics of other shows. In my free time, I can typically be found fishing(primarily tiger musky), hiking/climbing or working in my garden. I think this describes me in a nutshell.

Thank you!

Kevin
